Business Leaders Host Kickoff Fundraiser for Frank Leffingwell Campaign

ROUND ROCK, TX – A large Host Committee comprised of countywide business and civic leaders will host a campaign kickoff fundraiser for Republican attorney and businessman Frank Leffingwell on Tuesday, November 7th from 6:00-7:30pm at Nyle Maxwell’s Vehicles Unique in Georgetown.  On the agenda to speak are Georgetown Title owner David Hays, former Williamson County Commissioner and campaign treasurer, and Nyle Maxwell, former Round Rock Mayor and owner of Nyle Maxwell GMC. The extensive host committee list grows by the day. Mr. Jim Mills, owner of Rivercrest Group and former vice chair for Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority, serves as campaign finance chair.

“I am humbled by the countywide support I have received from the business community and concerned citizens who recognize the importance of electing a qualified and proven business leader to manage the rapid growth our county is experiencing. I’m a proven problem solver, not a professional politician or bureaucrat,” Frank said.

Leffingwell believes that in order for Williamson County to prepare for future growth and plan for infrastructure needs, we must elect problem solvers with successful track records in the private sector. “I sincerely believe that my business and financial expertise, my legal training, and my volunteer work within the community and the Republican Party has prepared me for the challenges ahead in Williamson County,” he said. “I believe the best way to confront our challenges is to take a conservative, businesslike approach that focuses on lean budgets, while ensuring that core services are fully funded, such as law enforcement and a comprehensive roadway system.”

The kickoff event is expected to draw supporters from the entire county. The press is welcome to attend. To see the Host Committee list, see
